IPB BB Code Bar Disappeered


Hey everyone!

I am using the newest version of IPB, for my forum.

One day out of now where the bb code bar disappeared! I don't remember making any changes to anything admin or sql. Here is a screen shot of what I mean:



The circled red area is where the bb code bar is supposed to be. Much like the one above in this forum where you got your fonts, code, image, and smile icons.

I tried reinstalling the forum after backing up my database and then moving the sql database back over but it still does it.

Sounds like to me there is something wrong with the database somehow. Not that familiar with sql databases that much.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I don't think it could be the sql, because I don't think sql effects the displaying of the bar. The only way it would be effecting would be if you have it turned off in your profile.

Thanks for the reply! You wouldn't happen to know how to turn it back on would you. I searched everywhere!

If you turned it off in your profile, it should be in your UserCp somewhere.

i don't think its that. because everyone on the forum can't see the bb code bar...

if i install ipb on a different server, the code bar is back, then if i move the forums, and topics over in sql, and its like ipb doesn't see them. they don't exist for some reason.

what all do you have to move from sql back over to a newly installed forum, to see your posts, and topics... thanks.

You need the table of posts, of threads, and other users, whatever it may call them (usually something like bb_posts.users or something)
