I don't have much experience administrating a PHPBB Forum. I am opening up a series of forums, all PHPBB. They are PhpBB 2.x, and I saw there was a 3.x. Should I upgrade to 3.x?

And how are the moderation functions? Are they overly difficult to learn?

I'm using phpbb2, and the admin panel is ok once you get used to it. I haven't tried 3 yet (I'm not even sure if it's stable yet). I plan on changing over to SMF system though. I just like the system better. I'm not saying that phpbb2 is baad or anything, I mean I'm using it.... however, I think I would like the features of SMF better.
