Is PHPBB the best free Forum system?
So, I have been using many different forum systems over the years including PHPBB. What I am wondering however, is if PHPBB is really the best free solution for forums?
VB is great and all, but money is too tight to purchase a license right now. Do you suggest sticking with PHPBB?

I remember when Invision was free with Fantastico. Then I though Invision was the best. Now I personally prefer phpBB as the best free forum.

My opinion is that MyBB is the best free forum system available, (especially for us guys who like alot of features, and settings) at this time.

I have only used the big two-PHPBB and SMF. Of the two I would say that I prefer PHPBB, the SMF being too complicated. It's layout isn't user friendly.
