So I go around and I see all these really sweet Vbulletin skins, but most of them seem to be pay. Occasionally I will come across some exceptions to this rule, but for the most part it has seemed to hold true.

Feel free to prove me wrong wit some site links, but it is how I see things.

Often this is the case with forums, designers don't like to work for free so you often get beginning designers or people who submit things that don't work very well. But with many good designers getting $20+/hour you can see why many consider their time too good to waste on a free skin. Many offer only a few free skins and the rest cost money. It may just take some time and digging to find the perfect free skin. If you find a designer you like, but the design isn't the right color/theme try searching for other skins they have submitted or sending them a private message asking if they have more designs on another site.

Most of the time I make due with free skins. I change my mind a lot and if I had to pay for all my skins I would really be broke!
When and if I decide what I really want I will probably pay to have a custom skin designed. I will want one all to myself!

Well while we are on this subject, would anyone happen to have a link to a good Vbulletin skin archive with at least some free skins?

I don't even care how good they are, I just want a better indication of what free skins are out there. And please do not redirect me to the official Vbulletin forums, I have been there too much!
