Playing the same opponent 4 straight years at a major
These are the only times its happened in the Open Era:
Courier-Agassi 1989-1992 French Open
Nadal-Federer 2005-2008 French Open
Federer-Djokovic 2007-2010 US Open
and these are the only players to reach(at least) 4 straight USO SF's in the Open Era
Connors(12) '74-'85
Lendl 8 '82-'89
Federer(7) '04-'10
McEnroe(5) '78-'82
Djokovic(4) '07-'10
The most times 2 players have played each other total at the USO is 5(Lendl-Connors, Lendl-McEnroe)

Search Tips?
I tried to do an Advanced Search for "Head Youtek Radical MP" - and TT would not do it because MP is "under the minimum 3 letter requirement". Is there a thread of post in TT that contains a "Guide to Search"?

I need a "non mushy" cross to compliment my multi's
Can anyone recommend what I can use as a cross in my hybrids? I do my own stringing and I hate "mushy" multi's that you can't poke thru blocked holes or that "crumble" when you try and push them through.
I like a multi in the mains and have been using a co-poly (Scorpion or Hyperion) in the crosses, but I really don't need a poly. I have just been using them because they are stiff enough to poke through the blocked holes.
But ideally, I would like something softer to use for my crosses. So are there any relatively "firm" to the touch multi's or synguts that would be softer than using a co-poly? Thanks!

Cross suggestions?
Alright people, overall I'm fairly happy with my string setup but am toying with trying to find a cross string that may give me a little more lively response without losing control.
Here's what I use: Tecnifibre Polyspin mains 1.27...a softer poly with a consistent response, I've tried a range of brands and price points and this one just seems to fit for me.
I used to use it as a full setup but as I get a little older I want to take it easy on the arm. Right now I use the cheap Wilson Syn Gut 16 on the crosses and have been happy with it but I'm in the curious phase again to see if there is something out there in the $40-80 per reel range that would be worth 'dating' for a while.
I string the bed even, to get what I want out of it. Fresh strung is 52/53 lbs roughly and after first hit, the bed holds at 48lbs for about a month before going dead. Any suggestions would be appreciated...winter is coming up so I'll have a lot of time to sit in front of the stringer to cure cabin fever.
